23rd June 2007: Environmental Justice Day, Edinburgh

As part of the Edinburgh Justice Festival, ELF ran a two-hour seminar on environmental justice and "using the law to protect your local environment".  ELF's Community Outreach coordinator, Sarah Longhurst, was assisted by ELF Adviser, Frances McCartney of Pattison & Sim Solicitors, Paisley.  Issues discussed included access to environmental information, recent planning legislation, legal aid and Protective Cost Orders.
